- Corporate Licensing Agreements: When your employer nominates you as an authorized Named-User for our Software Products under a commercial subscription contract.
- Software Execution & Telemetry: Automatically when launching, authenticating, or executing simulation runs in our software applications to verify valid license status.
- Automated Website Technologies: Through standard web logs and essential cookies when browsing our site.
4) Purpose for Collecting, Holding, and Using Personal Information
Orepath collects, holds, uses, and discloses your personal information for the following primary purposes:
- Provisioning and authenticating software subscription licenses.
- Delivering specialized mine planning, haulage simulation, and consulting deliverables.
- Providing technical customer support, bug fixes, and patch updates.
- Notifying clients of annual rate escalation or software release milestones.

5) Software & Cloud Security Infrastructure
As set out in our Standard Terms, all cloud-connected simulation models, user accounts, and licensing credentials are stored on secure enterprise servers hosted on Microsoft Azure using robust SSL/TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest.
We maintain strict administrative, technical, and physical safeguards—including role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, regular security reviews, and network firewalls—to protect against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration.
